2022 Managed Solutions Jr. Classic

The Managed Solutions Jr. Classic was full of ups and downs. Timberline Golf Course has its hills and all the players had peaks and valleys in their rounds, but that’s the game of golf. The participants had great mindsets throughout the event to still post some good scores.

For the boys 16-17 division Wil Sigwarth was the winner with a 73. “I came into today with a good mindset, I wanted to play well, and my chipping helped me do that.” Charlie Becker finished second with a 79 and Owen King took third place with an 80.

Emma Hogan took the win in the girls 16-17 division with a 96. “I was hitting the greens really well and overall, just trying to have a good mindset and forget about the bad shots.” Brooke Wuebker shot a 120 for second place.

In the boys 14-15 division Bock Mueller shot a 78 to take the win. “I struck the ball off the tee really well and got a lot of green in regulations.” Brayden Webber took second place with an 81 and Macoy Peyton shot an 84 for third place.

Cece Ball was the winner of the girls 14-15 division with a 90. “I had a good punch shot on hole 18 from behind a tree to finish my round on a high note.” Sarah Winter finished second with a 153.

For the boys 12-13 division Cal Martineau won with a 39. “I was pretty consistent off the tee and tried to stay out of tree trouble, which helped me hit greens and limit big numbers.” There was a scorecard playoff for second and third between Henry Thier and Reid Herrig, both shot 40. Thier came out on top taking second place and Herrig took third.

In the girls 12-13 division Elin Mueller shot a 38 to win. “I thought I played pretty good, my putting really helped me bring my round together." There was a scorecard playoff for second and third between Eve Skrocki and Josie Bierman. Both girls shot 53, and Skrocki won to take second place and Bierman took third.

Alex Tanny got his first tour win of the season in the boys 10-11 division shooting a 45. “My best part was my driver because I was hitting them far and straight.” Michael Hamilton was right behind with a 46 to finish in second and Beau Reed shot a 47 to take a close third.

In the girls 10-11 division Makenna Ball was the winner with a 50. “I really liked playing with the girls, I don’t get to play with them a lot, so today was fun.” Ella Schulte took second with a 56 and Leighton Rauen finished third with a 68.

In the Andersen-Weber Mini Tour event Paxton Hamel shot a 40 to take first place in the boys division with eagles on holes 1 and 9 and Max Bierman shot a 45 to finish in second place. Estelle Ball won the girls division with a 44 and Nora Hames shot a 76 for second.
