2023 Eagle Ridge Jr.

The South Course at Eagle Ridge is a very challenging course. Many players persevered and recorded great scores, but most importantly they all said they were having fun!

For the boys 16-17 division we had a playoff between Charlie Becker and Thomas Hereau. Both players shot a 75. Becker won the playoff to take first place. “I had a lot of up downs, that helped complete my round and on the playoff hole my game plan was to make par.” Camden Flack shot an 86 for third.

In the girls 16-17 division Cece Ball won with a 82. “My first shots off the tee put me in good places and if I hit a bad shot, I would just make it up on the next one.”

Brady Schlemme won the boys 14-15 division with an 80. “My approach shots went really well and I was smart off the tee, I only hit my driver a couple times to make sure it was in play.” Barrett Reed took second place with an 85 and Cole Herbst finished in third with an 88.

In the girls 14-15 division Brooklyn Bussan won with a score of 91.“My main focus was no matter how bad my shot was or how difficult it laid, I stayed positive and focused on hitting a better one the next time.” Eve Skrocki shot a 98 for a second place finish and Sarah Winter shot a 118 for third.

Henry Thier won the boys 12-13 division with a score of 40. “This course is really tight off the tee, so I tried to hit a lot of good, straight shots.” Hudson Weittenhiller shot a 43 for second place and Cooper Smith finished in third place with a 49.

In the girls 12-13 division, Makenna Ball took first place with a 61. “My favorite part was getting to know Leighton. We had a lot of fun playing together.” Leighton Rauen finished in second place with a 67.

In the boys 10-11 division, Michael Hamiliton shot a 42 to take first place. “My bunker shots were really good today and I had a lot of two putts and a few one putts to get some birdies.” Wyatt Meier and Briggs Reed both shot a 48. Meier won the cardback playoff to take home the second place plaque and Reed took third.

For the girls 10-11 division, Estelle Ball won with a score of 65. “I hit my driver really good and I had a lot of fun playing with my friends.” Finley Rauen finished in second place with a 72 and Leah Hermsen shot an 81 for third place.
