2023 Premier Bank Jr.
The Premier Bank Jr. at The Meadows Golf Club marks the end of 2023 summer golf for the DAJT. The players definitely went out with a bang and left it all out on the course!
In the boys 16-17 division we had a three way playoff for first place. Thomas Hereau, Jonah Oberfoell, and Brock Wilson shot 74. Hereau won after a 2 hole showdown. “I definitely got better as the year went on and I learned to stay more patient and my game just started to come to me.” Brock Wilson took second place and Jonah Oberfoell finished in third.
For the girls 16-17 division Cece Ball won with an 81. “This summer I had a lot of fun meeting new people and I learned a lot about myself and my game along the way.” Brooke Kelsch shot a 115 to take second place.
In the boys 14-15 division Ben Thill and Connor Walsh both shot an 81. Walsh won the one hole playoff to take the first place plaque. “I thought I played pretty well. I wish I could’ve made some more putts, but my driver, irons, and wedges were good and put me in good spots.” Thill took second place and Brendan Fitzgerald finished in third place with an 83.
For the girls 14-15 division Lynell Miller won with a 96. “I didn’t play how I wanted to on the front nine, but I bounced back and played better on the back.” Brooklyn Bussan finished in second place with a 97 and Sarah Winter took third place with a 113.
Henry Thier won the boys 12-13 division with a score of 39. “I played really well today. I just had it going early, but towards the end I stopped hitting it straight. I am glad it was only nine holes.” Cooper Smith followed closely behind in second place with a 40 and Reid Herrig finished in third place with a 42.
In the girls 12-13 division, Addie Splinter took first place with a 44. “This summer was pretty good. I had some ups and downs, but overall it was a fun summer to play with all the girls.” Rylie Stackis finished in second place with a 58 and Lucy Davis took third with a 60.
Jack Ludovissy won the boys 10-11 division with a 49. “The best part was that I almost had a chip in on hole five which was pretty cool.” Beau Reed took second place with a 51 and Michael Hamilton finished in third place with a 53.
For the girls 10-11 division, Estelle Ball won with a 49. “The best part of my summer was golfing, working on my game, and playing with different people.” Audrey Wendler shot 69 for a second place finish.
